How long does it typically take for me to start using docAssist upon purchase?
New accounts can be created within minutes. Once you receive your login information you can login to the system and begin using it. You will also be contacted by a representative to coordinate a comprehensive training and administrative setup session.

Do I need expensive or high end scanners to use docAssist?
Absolutely not! docAssist supports any TWAIN compliant scanner. Depending on your scanning requirements, we can assist you in providing guidance on hardware selection. If you currently own multi-function copiers/scanners, you can configure them to send documents directly to docAssist.

Is the integration really that quick and easy?
Yes! We built docAssist so that users can easily setup and establish integration without any painful distractions, expensive consultants and unanticipated problems and issues. It really is as simple and easy as setting up your desired integration from our integration wizard and you are ready to go!

Are there extra costs for storage?
Each base account includes 5 GB of storage. This stores approximately 150,000 documents. Once you exceed 5 GB there is an additional nominal cost. If you need to discuss your additional storage requirements, please contact one of our sales representatives.

Can docAssist help enforce my document retention policy?
Yes. Many organizations have the need to store documents for a certain number of years. docAssist allows you to purge your account of any data older than a certain date with a few clicks.

Where is my data being stored? How safe is my data?
docAssist  stores and protects your data utilizing leading industry-standard security measures including 128-bit SSL encryption, user roles that control access and permissions, and location of the repository at a SAS 70 Type II facility.

Can I obtain a copy of my data?
Of course. We offer services that export all of your data onto a DVD for a nominal fee. You can request your data at any time.
 
What happens if I decide to close my account?
If you choose to terminate your service and close your account, we export your data, send it directly to you and purge your data upon your subsequent request and approval.
